From the smallest to the largest scale, interaction precedes structure. This body of work reflects on the transmission of energy, information, and influence across distributed systems. Signals operate not as centralized instructions but as catalytic exchanges through which structure emerges by interaction rather than design. The paintings consider complex systems — cellular, biological, informational, and financial— as continua of transmitted impulses in which form develops through response, adaptation, and distributed interaction rather than centralized control.
